Brainstorming Ideas

During the first week of the phase, I explored different topics that I considered for the project. In the end, I chose to focus on these four subjects:

• Alchemy
• Steam Trains
• Victorian Gardens
• World Fairs

The first and second weeks were spent researching my chosen topics. On October 14th, I presented them to the rest of the class.

Conclusion

After giving a presentation, reading through feedback, and making an evaluation of my own interest in the chosen subjects, I decided to continue with Alchemy as my topic in Phase II. From my research, it seemed that, of the four subjects, Alchemy had the most to offer. Additionally, it closely aligns with my first point of interest - Gothic Literature.

Upon confirming my chosen topic, I was joined by Weronika Hajdrych, thus forming a team of two.
