Good/Bad Start

It took me three steps to identify four subjects that I wanted to explore in my project: the first involved answering questions about myself, the second and third consisted of expanding on one of my answers.

Step II - The Mind Map

After completing the first task, I felt drawn to gothic literature - a broad subject with a lot of potential for exploration. While mind mapping, I went over different elements often present in gothic stories.

Step III - The Final Question

Location plays a crucial role in gothic stories, driving the narrative and setting the tone. It is most often depicted as a mansion or a castle. After completing the mind map, I asked myself, “What kind of setting would be unique or interesting for a gothic story?” This question led me to consider various options:
